About Us
Collector`s Pursuit (CP) is a new online business that will focus on Collectible Card Games (CCG), Funko and other pop culture product lines. CP aims to reignite a passion for collectibles with an element of preservation in a volatile “flipper’s market”. It will offer its customers accessible exclusives, a high-level of communication and the utmost care in its order processing. We are looking to make a statement here, not just an impact; a reputation that will precede us for years to come.
A Word from The Owner
I’ve been a collector & seller for the greater part of 20 years now, and I’ve had the privilege of owning some incredible pieces; ranging from vintage gaming consoles, retro action figures, exclusive Funko POP models and sought-after trading cards. For me though, it began in the 90s’ with the Pokémon Trading Card Game, where I became a life-long fan and avid set collector. Fast forward to 2018, I sold a vintage PSA-graded Pokémon set for a whopping $48,000.
In recent years, I`ve also taken an interest into Funko. I love pop culture and some of these product lines just ‘’take you somewhere’’. It took me a long time to decide whether or not to start a business in this field, but I bring with me years of experience in e-commerce. In the past two decades, I’ve been operating at a local and international level on eBay, that success alone has given me the drive and high hopes for this Site.
Mission
The real mission here is to bring back the personal value in collectibles, I feel like it got lost in transition through the surge of hobbyist in recent years. There`s no doubt that future value plays a part in collectibles, but it becomes an issue when people are listing items from their cars on product release-dates. In large, collecting should be fun and reel-in passionate enthusiasts, that`s the kind of customers-base we’re looking to build.
What Problem does it Solve?
I can’t emphasize enough that communication is the number one issue when it comes to collectible shops. You either experience long wait times, vague responses or never receive an answer. As a collector myself, I understand the importance of time when it comes to buying product with exclusivities or short print runs. Store communication will not be an issue at Collector`s Pursuit. A close second when it comes to issues is store packaging. There`s nothing worse than receiving an order with little to no packaging material to protect your merchandise. Taking extra time in refining these processes can go a long way with collectors, it builds trust and reliability for the brand.

Future Plans
In the near future, Collector`s Pursuit will expand on its selection of Collectible Card Games and Funko product lines. We would also like to add other interesting brands into the mix. As you know, it takes time to establish a business but we`re willing to do the work. As for the long-term, there are some exciting ideas, including a first-ever in the realm of CCG service. We`re looking to grow so that we can have a chance to show you our comprehensive vision of the brand.
